Custom bike trips around Stranda
On request we offer other guided bike trips then the once on our website. Here´s a couple of the trips we can offer.
A full day trip with bike over a mountain pass on an old trailroad. This is a classic biking trip in the fjord region, where we bike trough the municipality of Hellesylt, pass peaceful and scenic lakes, waterfalls and old mountain farms. The biking is technically easy as we follow an old mountain road from Hellesylt close to the Geirangerfjord to Oppstryn in Stryn. One way, this trip is around 40 km, and the highest point around 550 masl and takes around 3,5 hours before we turn back.
This trip is nice to combine with a visit in Geiranger, as there is only a scenic ferry trip between Hellesylt and Geiranger.
In Stranda we offer mountain biking for everyone. A perfect halfday adventure starts at Strandafjellet Ski Resort and takes you down to Stranda city center through trails and good views. You do not need to bring your own bike – we have hard tail bikes of different sizes. This is a trip that suits the whole family.
