Strandafjellet is known as a “powder paradise” and described as Scandinavia’s best facility for freeriding. Strandafjellet ski centre is located on the edge of the Sunnmøre Alps, one of Norway’s wildest mountain ranges. The ski centre is one of Norway’s safest when it comes to snow and has a typical north-western climate, with lots of snow from north-westerly winds.
The ski resort has been named Scandinavia’s best ski resort for off-piste in the magazine Åka Skidor.
