The Sunnmøre Alps are known for alpine and pointed peaks in combination with spectacular fjord views. The mountains are about 1500 m high, and if you are lucky with the conditions, we will have the opportunity to ski all the way down to the fjord.

Weekend trips
Based at Stranda or Liabygda
Join a Ski touring weekend at Blåtind, where we will stay at the cosy Blåtind Boutique Hotel, a perfect starting point for adventures on this side of the fjord. With many classic mountains such as Liahornet, Jolgrøhornet, Garretind, and Blåtind, there are good opportunities for great experiences. The kitchen tempts you with local and protein-rich dishes that will prepare you for long days in the mountains. In addition, we will go back in time and experience a real Viking feast in the Viking House.
On our second trip, Ski touring weekend in Sunnmøre, we will stay at Stranda Hotel, giving us great flexibility to move based on weather and snow conditions. The mountains are located just outside our door, and we also have the opportunity to cross the Storfjord. We will organize the trip based on your wishes, but on the day in question, we will go where the snow, weather, and avalanche conditions are the best.
The focus on great views and good skiing, combined with good advice and tips from experienced guides will make this an eventful and instructive weekend!

Four days in the Sunnmøre Alps or at the fabulous Juvet Landskapshotell
Fjord ski
Four days with ski touring in the Sunnmøre Alps with accommodation at Sagafjord Hotel and the cabin Patchellhytta. On this trip, you will have the opportunity to ski downhill from the famous summit Slogen. Would you like to add or deduct days to/from the trip? This can be arranged!
Ski touring weekend Juvet
This weekend, we will cross the fjord from the mountain area Strandafjellet to the beautiful mountains surrounding Valldal and Fjørå. The area is known for having a lot of snow, and as this side of the fjord is less visited, the chance of finding untouched and great snow is high. Juvet Landskapshotell has won a number of architectural awards for its unique cabins and gives you the feeling of living in the middle of nature. The food at Juvet is world-class, characterized by creativity and fresh ingredients at a high level, and you will probably enjoy a dining experience you have rarely had before.

Ski Touring Week Stranda
Five days with ski touring in the Sunnmøre Alps, with accommodation at Stranda Hotel and Patchellhytta. On this trip, you will have good opportunities to ski downhill from the summit Slogen. If would like to add some extra days, we can organize that too!
Ski and Sail
Join a spectacular adventure in Hjørundfjorden, where we will stay on a boat and explore the Sunnmøre mountains. Imagine skiing some of the best lines in the Sunnmøre Alps. Wining and dining as you slowly sail past towering cliffs. Falling to sleep while being gently rocked by the waves. Pretty amazing picture, right? What if we add your own chef, creating a three-course dinner every night, a ski guide who knows the area like the back of his hand at your side, and surroundings with world-class mountain scenery? This is “Ski & Sail”!
