Hjørundfjorden is still a bit of a hidden gem talking about fjords around Ålesund and far less crowded then Geiranger. Even if it´s not as crowded it´s still just as spectacular with big waterfalls diving down in the fjord.
We start our trips down in Øye in the fjord arm called Norangsfjorden, here we have good protection from the rougher weather further out the fjord. We start the day with the mandatory safety talk around the kayaks and kayaking before we set off.
Our kayaks is stable tandem kayaks that are and good to paddle and a perfect platform to explore the fjords. There good chances to get to see parts of the wildlife in the region during this trip, with eagles, porpoise and otters.
These trips are arranged on request during the whole summer.
