At Uteguiden, we create unforgettable mountain experiences in the Sunnmøre Alps. As the leading guide company in Møre og Romsdal, we welcome guests from around the world year-round—from exclusive sail-and-ski expeditions and private ski touring adventures to avalanche courses, freeskiing at Strandafjellet, and classic day tours.
We're looking for experienced ski guides to join our winter team from February 2027.
Our winter season offers a unique variety of guiding across different terrain, locations, and guest groups. Many of our multi-day trips extend beyond the mountains, with guides accompanying guests throughout their stay—from mountain days to shared meals and evenings in hotels or mountain cabins. This creates genuine connections and allows us to deliver the personal, high-quality experiences Uteguiden is known for.

The Role
No two weeks are the same. You'll guide a wide range of winter experiences for both Norwegian and international guests while working as part of a close-knit, professional team.
Your responsibilities include:
- Guiding ski touring trips, avalanche courses, and other winter mountain experiences.
- Planning and preparing guiding assignments.
- Delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Participating in guide meetings and training.
- Following Uteguiden's SOPs and safety systems.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for guides who combine strong mountain skills with a positive attitude and excellent people skills.
You are:
- An experienced ski guide with relevant certifications.
- Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility.
- Flexible and adaptable in changing mountain conditions.
- Able to work long, rewarding days during busy periods.
- A professional, reliable, and supportive team player.
- Fluent in English (additional languages are an advantage).
- Passionate about creating exceptional experiences and comfortable working with a wide range of guests, from first-time ski tourers to experienced, high-end clients with high expectations.
Relevant qualifications include IFMGA/UIAGM, Ski Guide, CAA, SVELAV, or equivalent. If you're unsure whether your qualifications are a good fit, we'd be happy to hear from you.
