Here we are

Uteguiden’s headquarter is located in Stranda, which is the starting point for most of the ski trips we arrange. In addition, we have a guide office in Ålesund town centre, where you will find the meeting point for kayak trips and mountain hikes nearby. In 2021, Uteguiden merged with Valldal Naturopplevingar and has now also got a location in the centre of Valldal. Here, we arrange rafting, canyoning, and kayaking trips – welcome!

Ålesund

Ålesund – a town with character

Get ready to explore some of Norway’s most famous natural and cultural attractions. Ålesund’s beautiful Art Nouveau architecture is widely known. A myriad of fjords, island gems, and mountains on Sunnmøre are waiting to excite you.

The great variation of experiences gives you the freedom to choose exactly the holiday experience you are looking for – all year round. Join a guided bike tour between the pointed buildings or enjoy kayaking in the canal Brosundet.

The village of Valldal is number one when it comes to experiences in Møre og Romsdal! Here, you will find a wide variety of activities for all age groups. The warm climate provides perfect conditions for outdoor activities and experiences.

The thrill-seekers can participate in rafting down the river Valldøla and canyoning in Gudbrandsjuvet. If you are looking for peace and quiet and want to get close to the fjord, a kayak trip on an untouched UNESCO World Heritage fjord is recommended. There are also a number of alternatives for both short and long mountain hikes with spectacular fjord views.
