Our touring skis are versatile – perfect both for a day in the Stranda ski resort or for a backcountry adventure with our guides. With nearly 40 pairs of skis and boots in a wide range of sizes, we’ll make sure you get the right fit. We even offer ski touring equipment for kids!
Ski Touring Equipment
Since starting Uteguiden in 2012, we’ve relied on Dynafit gear for our rentals – and we still believe they outperform the competition. Their bindings are unmatched in durability and function, making them a favorite among both our guides and guests.

Our Rental Skis
Free 97 & Free 97 W’s
A superb all-round touring ski with a mid-fat waist. Designed for downhill-focused skiers who want performance in every snow condition. With a 97 mm waist, lightweight construction (1530 g in 177 cm), and double ellipse rocker, these skis are stable, playful, and intuitive. Available in both men’s and women’s models – ideal for freeride enthusiasts seeking a light yet powerful ski.
Radical 88 W’s
Dynafit’s most versatile touring ski. Lightweight and efficient, it’s built for both the climb and the descent. The women’s version comes with a slightly softer core for easier handling. Features include an integrated aluminum tip for precision, vibration damping, and 3D milling for weight reduction without compromising performance.
Our Rental Boots
Hoji PX & PX Women’s
A touring boot with unbeatable walkability combined with progressive, reliable flex for the descent. Made of Pebax plastic for stiffness and durability, it’s perfect for freeride-oriented ski touring. Developed in collaboration with Eric “Hoji” Hjorleifson and Fritz Barthel, the inventor of the Dynafit binding.
Radical
The latest addition to the Hoji boot family – lighter, more solid, and with an improved fit. Featuring the Hoji Lock System, you can switch from walk to ski mode with a single movement, even with gloves on. The Radical delivers outstanding skiing performance and is compatible with most touring bindings on the market.

We only use splitboards from Stranda Snowboards, a high-quality Swedish brand. Our rental fleet includes:
